I'm a tutor who is based out of Seattle, Washington, where I enjoy playing soccer, rock climbing, and reading when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University. As a tutor, I'm able to help students in a variety of subject areas. Some of the lessons I've taught in the past have been in math, chemistry, and advanced placement test preparation, amongst other things. I'm currently working as a project engineer here in Washington, where I get further opportunity to refine my math and science skills. I'm extremely passionate about helping students, and breaking down complex topics into easily understandable, bite-sized pieces of information. There's nothing quite like the feeling I get when one of my students finally has a breakthrough moment in a subject they've been struggling with for awhile. I facilitate these moments by providing individualized attention and lesson plans with targeted exercises and feedback.
